Even my mother who could barely turn on a computer two years ago is now surfing the net and has her own favorite blogs that she is always checking out.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Just today I signed onto AIM and the AOL opening page featured a new blogging component it is offering for AIM users, calling blogging a whole new world.  In fact, AIM is another example of "The Starbucks Effect."  Afterall, ten years ago we might now have been able to easily decipher what LOL, BRB, TTYL, and other AIM lingo meant.
